ENJOYING A BYCICLE RIDE IN THE REGEION
The "Murradwanderweg" is approximately 370 kilometres long and is known as the “Tour de Mur”, even outside of Austria.
The tour starts at the spring of the river Mur in Lungau, passes Judenburg and Knittelfeld and continues through Leoben and Bruck an der Mur before it reaches the Styrian capital Graz. From there, the tour winds through the hills and wine yards of South Styria and ends in Bad Radkersburg, a natural spring and border town with Slovenia.
Apart from the Murradwanderweg, the cyclist can enjoy a natural landscape on several mountain bike tracks with different levels of difficulty.
Local specialities like “Steierkäse” oder “Brettl Jausn” can be enjoyed in rustic mountain huts at several points along the paths.
